Gratitude Worldwide now exists as a company, and the hope is to open a retreat in Europe in the coming year or so. A former port city and important Southeast Asian trading centre dating from the 15th to 19th century, Hoi An’s stunning architecture reflects is fascinating history.
With its rich mix of eras and styles both indigenous and foreign, this UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts wooden Chinese shophouses and temples, colourful French colonial buildings, ornate Vietnamese tube houses, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge with its pagoda.
